Park County Commissioner District Map

park_county_district_map.webp
Park County has three districts, with a commissioner representing each one on the Park County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC). The elections for commissioner happen every two years, with one commissioner elected one year and two Commissioners the next two-year election cycle. So, this fall, Park County will have two commissioner seats up for election. Residents of the whole county vote for the commissioners, not just the commissioner for their district. So, all Park County residents will be voting for two commissioners.

For District 1, the two candidates are Amy Mitchell (who is currently on the Board of County Commissioners) and Robb Green.

For District 2, the two candidates are Jack Hansell and Jason Gemmer. The current commissioner for District 1, Dick Elsner, is term limited.

The election will be part of the Nov. 5 general election. Ballots will be mailed the first week of October. Watch for your ballot, which you can mail in, take to one of the county election drop boxes (at the county building in Fairplay, at the county building in Bailey or the Bailey Public Library) or you can bring your ballot to your local polling place and vote in person on Nov. 5 at the county building in Fairplay or the Bailey Public Library from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
